Lots of the groups that use The Common Place have their own mailing lists, the details of which are on the groups' pages on this website.

There are also two important mailing lists that you might want to join:

Leeds Social Centre list

This is a list for discussing the running of the Common Place. It has lots of information about things that are in-progress and being planned. It's open to anyone to join and is not moderated. Although it's a yahoo list, you don't need a yahoo account to join it. All you have to do is send a blank email from the address you want to subscribe, to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it - you'll get a message back asking you to confirm, so follow the instructions in that. If you want to receive your messages as a digest or unsubscribe, look at the instructions at the bottom of each email.

Common Place Announce list

All members are subscribed to this list when they join - if you're a member and not in this list, you need to speak to the membership collective. It can be used to announce upcoming events or any important information that needs to get to all users. Only a few people are allowed to post on it, but if you want to publicise an event at The Common Place, the bookings collective can put an announcement out for you.
