We will not be taking any more bookings, so the relevant links and information on this page has been removed although the page is left intact for archiving.
If you want to hold an event at the Common Place, you are in the right place!
Look at the list below: if your event involves licensable activities, click on the 'Licensed Events' link further down. If it doesn't, then click on the 'Meetings' Link further down. If you think your event is more complicated, the first step is to directly email the bookings collective -

Licensed events need to be co-ordinated by a current member, who has both been inducted and has shadowed another similar event.
If you've not been inducted recently, you'll need to come to an induction again since we've changed some of the processes, requirements and guidelines with the new license. Inductions are usually held on second and fourth Thursdays (evenings) but we can arrange them around you if necessary.
We currently don't take bookings from individual bands, just promoters (wishing to take on doing an event as-a-whole). If you're looking to organise a gig in Leeds for your band, we recommend you get in touch with one of the many promoters and collectives in Leeds. www.copsandrobbers.net
We are in the process of putting together an 'events collective' to arrange to accommodate travelling bands, and arrange 'in house' events.
