Leeds No Borders works in solidarity with asylum seekers, refugees and migrants in Leeds and beyond. We are committed to practical solidarity, mutual aid and direct action in the fight against deportations, detentions, poverty and racism. We are part of a growing network rooted in the belief that all immigration controls are racist and divisive and should be opposed and, ultimately, abolished.
We are an open, democratic and volunteer-run group always looking for new faces to get involved. Please contact us or come down to one of our organiusing meetings (every other Wednesday 7pm - 9pm) – we’re a friendly bunch from all over the world.
We organise campaigns and demonstrations, regularly demonstrate outside Waterside (Home Office reporteing centre), have social events, join national events such as the No Borders Camp, run workshops and work with lots of other organisations across Leeds.
If you or someone you know needs help or information with their case please come to our Tuesday information/support drop-in (every other Tuesday 5pm - 7pm). |
