Please remember that all licenced events (i.e. when alcohol is being served, or there is live music, dancing or a film showing) are members and bone fide guests only. Please bring your membership card to guarantee entry.

To become a member you just need to pop down and fill in a form (you'll find them by the big brown membership box to your right as soon as you walk in) and stick it in said brown box with £2. Or you can download the form here: http://www.thecommonplace.org.uk/images/cpmemberform.pdf. Then either bring it down or pop it in the post in an envelope marked 'membership' (our address is at the top of this page). It takes 48 hours for your membership to be activated. We appreciate this is a bit of a fuss, but hey you get to come to some great events and be part of a wonderful place!
