Opportunities II: Still Not Rubbish

So yes, we're having a club night. Again. A second one. No lie. It really did go rather well last time, many thanks to Sam Bennett for bringing his birthday party down to boost the numbers. We played Rammstein, people seemed happy; we played Kim Wilde, people seemed happy; fuck me, they even seemed down with Peter Fox, which I was well made up about.

Seriously, purchase for yrself a minimum of one Chic record, they're way bloody awesome) - The Aislers Set - Pet Shop Boys - Camera Obscura - Belle & Sebastian - Joe Jackson - The-Dream - Fox - Kate Bush - My Chemical Romance - Yeah Yeah Yeahs - Erasure - James Brown - Stush - DJ Quik & Kurupt - Daft Punk - Sloan - Teenage Fanclub - Hall Of Oats - Little Boots - Half Man Half Biscuit - DJ Scotch Egg - Cowtown (included because I need to remember to buy their fucking album) - Prolapse - The Bird & The Bee - Laura Cantrell - En Vogue - Bersuit Vergarabat - Slade - Earl Brutus - Magazine - Loose Ends - Terence Trent D'Arby

And a fucktonne of other things that I'll remember nearer the time.

PRICE: £1 members, £3 non-members. Why is that? WELL:

The Common Place is a members club. Guests must be introduced by a member at the door. Joining The Common Place costs just £2 per year, you can do it in a number of ways (but it takes a minimum of 48 hours for your membership to be processed).
See the 'Membership' link on the right for details.

Guests must be introduced by members, and there's no limit on how many guests a member can introduce. However, notice how the entrance fee for members is £2 less than it is for guests? And you notice how it costs £2 for a year's membership to this lovely venue? You know what we call that?

GCSE MATHS, MOTHERFUCKER!

So yeah, would thoroughly encourage people to join before the night. Go here to find out how:

And we'd much love you to come down. Cos it was good last time, people was there, there was drinking (Oatmeal Stout! Cherry Beer! Right good), there was dancing (TO SEAL), good time had by all. If we could have got them to sign affidavits certifying they had a good time, we would have done, but that would've just been rude. Just trust it happened. And will happen again. January 9th. Bring yrself. Bring other people. It'll be skill.

We'd do one for the airport too, but that's a bit... ambitious, isn't it?

Anyway: Opportunities II. It will not be rubbish. January 9th, 9pm, The Common Place, Leeds, £1 members, £3 non-members.
