Plan A has failed. We are in the midst of a series of economic, environmental and political crises which are 
creating a global shortage of jobs, services, land, housing and food. All of this demonstrates that our current 
way of organising society does not work for the vast majority of people, the same people who are expected 
to bear the cost of these crises which are not of their own making. 

Plan B is the coming together of many bodies desiring a different way of living, who seek to respond to 
this situation by changing the values that determine how land, buildings and resources are used – 
beginning in the city we live in. We want to create an alternative city where the diverse needs and desires of 
residents, not distant investors, determine the way space is used. We are the Plan B. 

We are planning an event to launch a long term grassroots strategy to deal with the multiple crises that we are facing in Leeds. We want groups and individuals who feel it is time for a change to get involved and help us shape a new direction for Leeds
