// Sunday 24th April//

12 - 2pm

The Great Clean Up - exactly what it says. It could be fun... And you can have brunch for free!

2pm

Brunch - the final Common Place brunch. Vegan of course. It'll be amazing! And will probably cost £2.50

The weekend of the 23rd - 24th April will be The Common Place's last

From its beginnings six years ago as hub to mobilise for the G8, The Common Place has evolved to be a truly valuable independent community space; it's well-loved and continues to be well-used by lots of different groups. It has provided a non-commercial space in Leeds city centre for local and national groups and collectives to meet and organise, and is a popular and unique venue for DIY gigs and club nights in Leeds.

PEDALLERS' ARMS (LEEDS BIKE CO-OP), MONDAYS AND WEDNESDAYS 4 - 8PM

pinkweb

NOW moved to Mabgate Green, we are not at the Common Place!

Pedallers Arms is a place to come and learn how to repair your bike in a friendly atmosphere. We are a co-operative of people, all volunteers, who want to help people fix up their own bikes. The emphasis is on “anyone can fix their bike”. We have tools, books and time for you. We'll be open 4 - 8pm every Monday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Come drop into one of our sessions. We ask for a donation towards rent and wear and tear, but no one will be turned away due to lack of funds. We are based at the Common Place Mabgate Green (off Regent St) and we are open 4 - 8pm on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and hope to have a social event on the 2nd Sunday of each month. We’ll do our best to make sure there is tea, coffee and cake on offer at every session!

How To Cash Up
Lots of us have been confused about the correct way to handle cash at the Common Place. Now the finance collective have written some simple instructions that should make it clear and simple enough for anyone. If you ever have to cash up, please read these instructions.

Please tell everyone about your group

As you can see, we've got a new website. Some of the information here has been written afresh, some has been cobbled together from the old website. What we need now is for all of the user groups, working groups, collectives, etc. to check that there's an accurate item about them. If there isn't, please write one and email it to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it
