Working groups are there to help in the smooth running of the building. They may cover areas including the cafe, the decor, maintenance, finance, inclusivity within the common place or bookings. Some working groups will meet fairly regularly and report to general meetings, others will arrange to do things on an adhoc basis.
Working groups can be great places to really get to know the common place and the people who hang out here. They also provide opportunities for learning new skills or sharing skills you have, none of us are experts as you will probably realise pretty quickly. If you want to get more involved in the common place you may want to consider finding out how to get involved with one of the working groups.

There's also the possibility of gathering up scrapped computer hardware, reviving it and distributing it to people. |
